Air cleaner assemblies can increase or decrease airflow, fuel mixture & horsepower by adjusting the height of the air flow through your carburetor. When choosing an air cleaner base, pay attention to hood clearance when determining the appropriate height of your air cleaner assembly. This air cleaner base has a flat design with an offset neck to accomodate large HEI distributors.
