Shipping policy
Where We Ship
SHDP ships across Canada and to select US locations. We only ship to physical addresses that can be delivered by courier—no PO boxes. Carriers may leave packages unattended at the delivery address. We recommend using an address where someone is available during business hours.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and deliverable shipping address at checkout. Any fees related to address corrections, re-delivery, or re-shipments are the customer’s responsibility. SHDP is not liable for package theft, address errors, or missed deliveries.
Shipping Carriers
Shipping carriers are displayed at checkout. While we do our best to honor carrier preferences, SHDP may substitute an alternate carrier at the shipping counter due to availability or package-size restrictions.
All ETAs provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery times vary by carrier, location, and weather conditions.
Rates
Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on weight and dimensions. Additional freight may apply for oversized items or extremely remote areas.
If additional freight costs are required due to incorrect weights, packaging dimensions, or remote destinations, we will contact you before charging or shipping.
Any shipping or freight-related fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped.
Processing Time
Most in-stock products ship within three business days of order placement, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm PST. Orders requiring inventory transfers may take longer.
Processing time refers to warehouse handling only and does not include carrier transit time. Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimated by the carrier and are not guaranteed. If you need a product by a specific date, contact us before placing your order.
In-Store Pickup
In-store pickup is available for most items. SHDP inventory is typically ready within 24 hours. Items shipping from a distribution center are transferred to our store and are usually ready for pickup within 2–4 business days. You will receive a pickup notification once your order is ready.
Freight Deliveries
Large or heavy items may ship via LTL freight. Residential deliveries typically include a phone call to arrange an appointment. Commercial addresses with a dock or forklift are preferred whenever possible. Liftgate or inside delivery service is not guaranteed and depends on carrier options at the time of shipment.
Receipt and Damage Reporting
Inspect your package on arrival. If packaging is damaged, take detailed photos before opening. For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Failure to document damage at delivery may limit your ability to file a claim.
We have 48 hours to file a freight claim with the carrier after delivery, so prompt communication and photo documentation are essential. If the packaging is undamaged but the contents are damaged, contact the product manufacturer to start a warranty claim as outlined in our Refund Policy.
