They eliminate common issues found in traditional mechanical water pumps - parasitic horsepower loss, heavy cast iron housings and impeller drag. This cast aluminum pump flows 35 gallons per minute and comes in a black coated finish. Fits 1968-1988 Ford, Lincoln, Mercury 429 and 460 V8.
