Kia wowed the world with the launch of their heavy-hitting Stinger GT, delivering a sports sedan with a robust platform to build mountains of power while rivaling the contemporary brands that already dominate the market. Since it's easy to increase the boost on this platform, we saw the need to provide you with a sturdy means of managing excess boost pressure in the intercooling system. The factory recirculation valves, while solid out of the box, are already close to maxed out when it comes to regulating boost pressure, plus the plastic construction could lead to potential leaks as the vehicle ages. Not to mention these valves deprive you of that sweet ΓÇ£PSSHT" that every enthusiast with a turbocharged vehicle craves. The Mishimoto blow-off valve adaptor ditches the plastic in favor of a full cast aluminum construction to ensure a sturdy connection between the Kia's intercooler pipe merger and the blow-off valve. Our adapter is also CNC-machined and coated in a sleek, black powder coat for a perfect fit under the hood. The 2 to 1 design utilizes a 50mm v-band flange giving you a wide range of blow-off valves to choose from to regulate boost pressure properly. This adapter also includes two rubber block off caps, additional hosing, a fresh set of OEM style O-rings, and the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a worry-free installation. |
