An undersized or clogged fuel injector, pump, or filter can cause too little fuel flow to the engine, resulting in not only a loss of power, but also excessive heat. Even short periods of high cylinder temps can lead to detonation, melted pistons, or a seized engine and thousands of dollars in repairs. This fuel filter utilizes a slim extruded-aluminum body that measures just over 2-inch diameter to save space and make mounting easy. The high-flow filter cartridge and -10 ORB ports to provide up to 198 GPH (750 LPH). This fuel filter features an easy to replace cartridge-style insert in your choice of cellulose paper for petroleum-based fuels or welded stainless-steel for use with alcohol-based fuels. Both our cellulose and stainless-steel filters are available with a 10-micron rating for use between the pump and fuel rail, while the stainless-steel inserts are also available with a 100-micron rating for pre-pump filtering. Our filter inserts feature high-quality Viton O-rings and are rated to withstand up to 116 PSI for reliable performance on even the most demanding vehicles. Over 60 sq. in. of filter surface area protects valuable fuel pumps and injectors while allowing minimal pressure drop.
