Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and they've been manufacturing Chevy S10, GMC S15, V8 engine swap specific headers for over 20 years. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next.
These BLACK-MAXX coated, MID-LENGTH TUBE headers are designed specifically for installing a Small Block Chevy 283-400 (Gen 1) engine into 1982-2004 Chevy S10/Blazer, GMC S15/Jimmy 2WD trucks. Fits both manual and automatic transmission trucks. The large, smooth 1-3/4 in. tube design provides excellent exhaust flow to let your transplanted 283-400 SB Chevy engine breathe easy, and produce additional horsepower and torque over factory manifolds.
Each set includes a pair of header flange and collector gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts.
Hedman Hedders is so confident in the quality of its headers that these headers are factory backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. These headers have a high temperature, SATIN-BLACK ceramic finish that resists corrosion, and can withstand temperatures up to 1400 degree F. This finish is covered by a 5-year factory warranty, in addition to Hedman's standard lifetime header warranty.
