The installation of this thermostat requires the use of either GM housing 12657137 or 12671393. The stock thermostat must be removed and the Mishimoto thermostat installed in its place.----If the pin has moved out from the internal wax, the thermostat should be installed and run through one or two hot/cold cycles to ensure the thermostat has been properly set.----This 180F thermostat is designed for racing applications only. |
