The core of this engine is a brand new Ford lightweight aluminum block with forged and balanced crankshaft, forged Manley H-Beam connecting rods and Mahle forged aluminum pistons. Sitting on top is an Edelbrock supercharger with Eaton TVS R2650 rotors. Also included are the essential supercharger kit components, such as the 8 rib drive belt, electric intercooler water pump, intercooler plumbing and intercooler recovery tank, as well as fuel rails, 60 lb./hr. fuel injectors, coils, mass air flow sensor (MAFS) housing and re-usable air filter. Crate engine #46890 includes a supercharger, wiring harness, pre-programmed ECU, electronic throttle pedal, oxygen sensors, MAFS, OBD-II diagnostic port, air filter, fuse box, water pump, hose, alternator, belts, idlers and hardware. This engine will require an EFI compatible fuel delivery system with a minimum flow of 90 gph at 70 PSI. Fuel pressure regulator with boost reference is required. Top of supercharger measures 20.83in from crank centerline. Supplied with Edelbrock Break-In Oil. Before starting engine, you will need to prime the oil system. Do not turn engine over with starter motor for priming. |
