Your engine is supplied with 5 Qtrs. of Edelbrock Break-In Oil in the crate. Before starting engine, you will need to prime the oil system. Do not turn engine over with starter motor for priming. |

It is important when first starting the engine to keep the rpm above 2,000 for the first 30 minutes. |

Make sure all fluid levels are topped off and all lines and hoses are hooked up correctly. The break in must be done non-stop. Otherwise, the cam will not break-in properly. This is also a good time to look for leaks of any kind. |
