GM's Gen V LT Motor is a high performance, late-model engine swap alternative to the LS. While not as widespread as the LS, it is quickly gaining traction and finding its way into classic GM muscle car, street rods, and even some later model LS-equipped vehicles.

Trans-Dapt's LT engine adapter plates are an easy-to-use product that quickly adapts GM's new-age, Gen V LT motor to fit into your earlier generation, factory LS-equipped chassis car or truck. Just bolt this adapter to the LT blocks factory mount location, install a set of factory LS pads, then attach the engine to the chassis. When it comes to mounting the LT engine to the LS frame, it doesn't get much easier than that.
